A Thought: Adwords Integration in Shopping Cart Software

I'm just having idle thoughts at the moment about a shopping cart that lets you manage ads for products alongside the product you are promoting.
If the product went out of stock, you could automatically pause the ad campaign for that product. Kind of a self managing promotional system.
I wonder if it would be worthwhile?
